We developed the application to organize booking of a desk

Hiring lab reported that remote job postings tripled during the last two years.  Employers began to change large offices to compact ones and permanent workplaces to mobile ones. The same desk now can be used by a dozen colleagues on different days, at different times. The companies manage office occupancy using digital services.

Manufaqtury is a startup that offers companies such built-to-suit offices with a further opportunity of a long term lease. Their clients are the largest banks and developers of the country. Manufaqtury needed a user-friendly application to organize booking of a desk or a meeting room for their clients. So they approached Rubius to develop that app.

The company already tried to use similar booking services. However, they were all customized to manage reservations inside their office only and did not imply wider service provision to external clients. They needed a number of additional options and therefore their analytics and development. And this is what Rubius team has been doing for 17 years: developing business products and managing such tasks.

The app has the following features:

• Selecting a workspace: facing the window or entryway door, compact or spacious, tools and accessories, availability.
• Booking via calendar: the tool can be customized to the corporate color and logos of a client, integrates with mailing service to get all notifications on reservation.
• Enjoying 3D Office Tours: we transformed the standard office plans into 3D ones, each desk is clickable with a pop-up of the list of tools it is equipped with, e.g. monitor, printer, lamp, plant, etc.
• Managing the user access: some spaces are available for booking by top management only.
• Use domain authorization: no need to additionally log in to the service if the user is already logged in under a corporate account.
