TransContainer is a leading intermodal container operator that manages the largest fleet of containers and flatcars in Russia. The company delivers goods by road or rail, or across oceans and seas on cargo ships to Europe and Asia. It has 38 terminals and 90 offices for clients. They created a web service where users can place an order and get the necessary shipping documents.
Web service aimed to reduce the load on call centers and increase online sales. The first stage included launching a desktop version, which provided sales growth but was not big enough. Most customers still placed an order at the warehouse, where they only had their phones with. So, the company needed a mobile app to make the process easier and more accessible. Rubius undertook the development of a mobile app for TransContainer.
